Recently, the Ross County Board of Commissioners and the City of Chillicothe, in conjunction with the Ross County Emergency Management Agency, initiated an individual emergency mass notification system. In times of natural and manmade emergencies and disasters, this warning system will notify all Ross County residents of pending emergencies. By simply clicking on the link below and registering, you have taken the first step in staying informed of potential danger.
Follow the instructions once connected to the link below. This is a free service but normal message fees may apply. Once signed up, an alert will be sent to the phone number you provide by either voice, text or email. As sometimes locally placed warning sirens are difficult to hear or a siren has malfunctioned, this system provides another source to stay informed about impending weather related emergencies to keep you and your family safe.
